The Department of Fine Arts is holding a workshop on the local accreditation file for faculty members.

The Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts held a specialized workshop on local accreditation, attended by faculty members of the department and Ms. Sawsan Radaideh from the University's Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in the department's meeting room.

The Head of the Department of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Salem, welcomed the attendees and expressed his gratitude to Ms. Radaideh for accepting the department's request to conduct this workshop. He emphasized its importance in clarifying the requirements and procedures for local accreditation and its role in supporting the department's efforts to complete the accreditation file according to the approved standards.

The workshop aimed to familiarize department members with the requirements and standards of academic accreditation, both institutional and programmatic, and to train them on the mechanisms for preparing and compiling the necessary documentation. This included topics such as academic program management, teaching and learning, scientific research, scholarships and innovation, student affairs, community partnerships and external relations, self-evaluation and continuous improvement, and improvement plans. The goal is to enhance the quality of academic performance and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements according to the approved standards.

During the workshop, Ms. Sawsan Radaideh addressed the various aspects of the local accreditation process, providing a detailed explanation of each aspect and answering faculty members' questions. She clarified the practical application mechanisms and documentation requirements according to the approved templates.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the department head thanked Ms. Radaideh and the faculty members for their attendance, engagement, and active participation, emphasizing the importance of continuing such meetings to support the department's pursuit of quality and academic accreditation.
