Professor Ali Al-Rabeeat, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yarmouk University, and a delegation of deans from Arab faculties of fine arts visited the Lebanese University. This visit coincided with their participation in the election of the new executive committee of the Association of Arab Faculties of Fine Arts, a member of the Union of Arab Universities, whose headquarters are located at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture at the Lebanese University.

As Secretary-General of the Association, the delegation was received by Dr. Hisham Zein El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, at the Dean's office. The delegation toured the faculty's departments and met with students.

The delegation then proceeded to the Central Administration Building – Museum, where they met with Dr. Bassam Badran, President of the Lebanese University. Dr. Badran congratulated the newly elected executive committee, praising the importance of the Association and its role in building a network of communication among Arab faculties of fine arts.

The delegation also visited the Faculty of Fine Arts (2) and attended the Christmas celebration. Speeches were delivered by Dean Zein El-Din, the branch director, artist Bernard Ghosoub, and several visiting deans.
