The Department of Design and Applied Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Yarmouk University, organized a specialized seminar for graduate students entitled "Management and Marketing Strategies in Design." The seminar was supervised by Professor Bassam Al-Radaideh and presented by Dr. Bassam Abu Khader, and was attended by master's students and those interested in design.
During the seminar, Dr. Abu Khader reviewed a wide range of modern management and marketing concepts relevant to the design industry, highlighting the mechanisms for building effective strategies to market various types of designs. He also discussed the most prominent scientific principles followed globally and the most important professional practices that contribute to raising the quality of creative products and enhancing their reach to target markets.
The seminar featured an extensive and interactive discussion in which students raised questions and inquiries about the practical challenges facing designers and ways to develop their management and marketing skills to meet market needs.
Professor Bassam Al-Radaideh, the supervisor of the seminar, expressed his deep appreciation for the insightful scientific presentation delivered by Dr. Bassam Abu Khader. He emphasized that this type of seminar enriches the knowledge of graduate students and enhances their ability to bridge theory and practice, thus supporting their research and professional careers in the field of design.
